Bill Imlach

Managing Director

Bill joined Stewart Milne Construction in 1982 and worked at various project and management levels before becoming Managing Director in 2001.

Bill holds a BSc in Quantity Surveying and, as well as his varied experience with us, has worked with other major contractors and in the public sector.

Lesley Barrie

Finance Director

After graduating with an Honours Degree in Business Studies in 1995, Lesley qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1998 and spent six years in private practice, where she became a partner in a local Aberdeen firm. This gave Lesley the opportunity to work with a wide and varied range of businesses in an advisory capacity.

Lesley left practice in 2004 to become Group Finance Manager/Company Secretary at Stewart Milne Group Limited. In February 2007 she was appointed Finance Director of Stewart Milne Construction.

Noel Staunton

Regional Director South

With an HND in Construction Management and a strong background in the sector, Noel is responsible for the day-to-day running of our operations from Perthshire to the central belt.

As well as having an overview of all projects on site he is often directly involved in meetings with clients and prospective clients and is ever interested in discussing new opportunities for our business. Working closely with the Divisional board, Noel continues to develop SMC’s resources, scope and involvement in the area.

Craig McKillop

Regional Director North 

As Regional Director for the North, Craig has overall responsibility for our business based in Aberdeen covering Angus, Aberdeenshire, Grampian and Highland.

With over 25 years experience in the industry Craig has previously worked for a number of major PLC’s and Scottish based contracting organisations. He joined Stewart Milne Construction from Elphinstone Holdings, one of Scotland largest private developers, where he was Projects Director. Craig is well known and respected within the industry and is a Past President of the Scottish Contractors Association.

Derek Anderson

Commercial Director

Derek is responsible for our estimating, buying and surveying functions, with a primary role in securing new business in all market sectors, particularly in the preparation of comprehensive packages through design and build, negotiation and partnering. As such, Derek will be a key contact in the early discussions regarding your project.

Les Henderson

Business Development Manager, North

Les will often be the first point of contact to discuss your project in the North, whatever its type. He has many years experience with us, and will be able to advise on any aspect of the services we provide. Les will ensure you receive a prompt and appropriate response.

Stuart Fyvie

Business Development Manager, South

Stuart has a background in Commercial Development and has a continuing involvement in the Group’s Development division. Throughout the central belt and Forth valley he will most often be the first point of contact with SMC and will always be available to discuss any prospective project. Stuart will also be the link with members of our Operational and Commercial teams and will readily involve them to provide input into clients’ projects.
