Stewart Milne Construction has a strong background in healthcare having carried out numerous projects, new and refurbishments in both the public and private healthcare sectors.  Many have provided highly highly specialist facilities and often in active hospital environments.

More recently we have been involved in the provision of medical centres and combined facilities.

As these projects have mostly been ‘design and build’, we’ve built up a close understanding of these buildings’ specific requirements.

In each case we work closely with the design team, devising practical and cost-effective solutions while always meeting the stringent standards and requirements.

We also appreciate the importance of good quality design; projects usually include a range of facilities, some provided by secondary agencies – so relationships are critical. As the environment and layout are vital to effective patient care and comfort, high standards of finish and services are also essential.

We always consider each project’s requirements individually, and agree the most appropriate build method in terms of buildability, cost and programme.
