This Stewart Milne Development was carried out on the basis of a pre-let to Acergy UK Limited, a major seabed-to-surface engineering company.

The project comprises 10,500 sqm Grade A office space, 6,250 sqm workshops and storage, and a sports building including four court hall, squash and gym facilities. The development also provides extensive yard space, parking and landscaped areas connecting to the existing woodland.

The project was secured following a competition among developers and a significant tenant fit out was subsequently added to the base build. The office building comprises two, three-storey wings, each with an atrium and connected by a central core incorporating the main entrance, and feature staircasde.

The heating system is fed by a geothermal heat source, and other energy efficient systems include passive chilled beam cooling.
