Stewart Milne Construction has completed work on a new £3.2 million care home, Holmesview, in Broxburn, West Lothian. The 60 bed nursing home, built for Randolph Hill Group, contains facilities such as assisted bathrooms, kitchens, laundry rooms, social areas for dining and separate activity spaces. The building provides accommodation for 60 residents and was built using timber frame on concrete slab and roofed with an insulated panel system. Bill Imlach, managing director of Stewart Milne Construction said: “Randolph Hill Group is a valued client with whom we have had a very successful relationship on previous projects. This is the third care home we have built for the client and we worked in close partnership to ensure the property was both on time and on budget.” Peter McCormack, managing director of Randolph Hill Group, said: “With demand for increased care provision increasing all the time, we are pleased to be expanding our existing portfolio with another new home. The fact that this project was completed on time and to an exceptionally high standard means a massive boost to the local community at a time when demand is high. Once again, Stewart Milne Construction has delivered us a wonderful care home with rooms that are very spacious and fitted out to suit the residents perfectly and we are delighted with the finished product.” We are currently in discussions with other care home providers regarding new construction opportunities throughout Scotland.
